The biting cold winds of winter have blown in with a windfall for the Library.  Our Red Dirt Wind Farm neighbors to the east caught wind of the library's YA Retro project and raised $1,500 for the purchase of new young adult titles.  The employees dug deep down to donate $500 and those funds were matched by Enel Green Power NA, Inc. and Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc.  It is the first donation from this region's vibrant energy sector in 20 years.  Hennessey students use the library after school for homework research and the YA collection is in need of renewal.  The YA Retro project will provide new and replacement titles on current topics to fill our young people's need for information.  We are deeply grateful to our wind energy neighbors for their investment in the library.
