Hennessey Community / Shelter / Concession Room

Hennessey - Conference/Civic Centers

To provide community meeting room for community organizations and/or family or class reunions as well as the first public shelter for the citizens of Hennessey. The structure will be built north of the town gymnasium and joined with a short hall, therefore will serve as a concession area for all gym activities.

Hennessey Walking Trail

Hennessey - Parks/Gardens

The trail take the participants through parts of the historical Chisholm Trail grounds and circles around a beautiful pond that once was used as a watering hole for cattle drives and settlers traveling to claim land. The trail is located on US81 and will make a great stopping place for travelers today just as the area did when Oklahoma was being discovered.
